리레이팅의 초기 단계

정책 지원과 유동성 증가가 한국 주식시장을 추가로 부양할 전망

 

4월부터 코스피가 강한 랠리를 보인 것에 대한 우려가 있지만, 이 정부의 정책 지원과 더 많은 유동성이 한국 주식시장에 유입될 것으로 예상되기 때문에 우리는 한국에 대한 긍정적인 시각을 유지합니다.

이 정부가 부동산이 아닌 주식을 통해 부를 창출하겠다는 명확한 메시지를 내놓은 것은 올바른 방향으로 가고 있다고 판단되며, 이는 지주회사의 과거 밸류에이션과 순자산가치(NAV) 할인율을 보더라도 리레이팅이라기보다는 과도하게 할인된 밸류에이션의 정상화로 봅니다.

정부 지출의 증가는 과거와 달리 대부분이 부동산 시장으로 흘러갔던 것과 달리 이번에는 주식시장으로 유입될 것이며, 외국인과 개인 투자자들이 한국 주식시장에 다시 돌아오는 초기 단계에 있다고 판단합니다.

Policy support and increase in liquidity to further boost Korean equities

Although there are concerns over the Kospi posting a strong rally starting in April, with the Lee government's policy support and more liquidity expected to come into Korean equities, we maintain our positive view on Korea.

The Lee government's clear message to create wealth through equities rather than real estate seems to be heading in the right direction, and we view this as the normalisation of deeply discounted valuations, rather than a rerating, even when looking at the historical valuations and NAV discounts of holdcos.

The increase in government spending will end up in the equity market unlike the past when the majority went into real estate, and we are still in the early stages of foreign and retail investors coming back to Korean equities.
